Cindy Shelhart
Double-strung harp expert Cindy Shelhart is a performing artist, composer, and creator of The Technique Triangle™️, the simple system for double harp players that makes their music “sound like a double.” She created the system for the growing number of double-strung harp (DSH) players who bring this cool harp home, but then hit the “now what?” wall. Cindy also teaches lead sheet performance and arranging for all harps.
She is the author of the method book Make Mine a Double and The Double Dozen Series of repertoire collections, as well as the top-selling fake book Tunes to Go: 400 Tunes in Lead Sheet Format for the Harp. Cindy has performed and presented for many national harp organizations and music festivals, and her solo albums Limberlost Angel and That Night in Bethlehem have been featured on public radio and podcasts.
The first DSH player to win the US National Scottish Harp Championship ™, Cindy loves random trivia, flies her Hogwarts flag with pride, and gets stuff done with a big mug of English (or French) Breakfast. (Pass the milk, please.)
